To do nothing at all in the exclusive West Indies island of Mustique.&nbsp;To drink yak butter tea in China\u2019s remote Yunnan province. To document New Orleans\u2019 comeback. Today, the New Jersey native and creator of <em>Game of Thrones<\/em> is rich and famous and&nbsp;spending his own millions to create new, artsy attractions in his adopted, high desert town. Or, at least, it nearly made me teary after visiting\u00a0its monuments to the past \u2014 like the new Museum of the American Revolution or the old Tomb of the Unknown Revolutionary War Soldier. target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\"><strong>Miami&#8217;s Mid-Beach neighborhood<\/strong><\/mark><\/a> is&nbsp;on the upswing and well worth a visit, as I discovered for Austin Monthly magazine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a
